Since Lambda North is a Florida registered non-profit 501(c)3 organization, we are sustained through the support of individuals such as you. So far we have raised a substantial sum of money (nearly $14,000.00 as of October 1, 2009) through our fundraising efforts (see Events) and generous donations from those who believe in what we are doing. But it is not enough to realize our goal of opening a physical clubhouse in which to hold meetings and events.
Our Board has been working diligently over the past two years and will soon be submitting grant requests in addition to continuing to hold fundraisers such as Drag Bingo, our Annual King and Queen Pageant and other entertaining and fun activities. But we cannot do any of this alone.
We need your support. This can be in the form of a donation of money as well as time. Whatever you can offer in terms of funding, skills or talents will be a very important contribution to our overall effort.
